    Out of Frame

    This one’s all about bending the rules. In this tutorial, we show you how to make something pop right out of your phone!

    Step 1

    Open your picture in the photo editor. Use one of your own shots, or find one by another user by searching for #FreeToEdit in the app. Tap on the Add Photo icon and select a picture of a hand holding a phone. 

    Step 2

    Open the Free Crop Tool by tapping on the icon in the top toolbar. 

    Step 3

    Tap on the paintbrush icon to open the brush settings menu and use the slider to reduce the size. Use your finger or stylus to select the hand and phone frame (be sure not to select the phone screen). Switch to the Eraser Tool and use it to clean up the edges of your selection. Tap on “Apply.” 

    Step 4

    Use the arrow icons to enlarge and rotate the added image and drag it to place it.  

    Step 5

    Use the slider to reduce the opacity a little (this will help you see your bottom image as you erase). Tap on the eraser icon at the top of the screen. 

    Step 6

    Tap on the eraser icon and use the sliders to reduce the brush size and bring the hardness up to 100%. Use your finger or stylus to erase the parts of your added image that overlap with the main figure. Tap on the check mark to confirm.

    Step 7

    Bring the opacity back up to 100%. Tap on the plus sign and select “Clipart.”

    Step 8

    Select the Flashy Shades package. 

    Step 9

    Tap on the Clipart image you’d like to use. 

    Step 10 

    Adjust the size and rotate the Clipart, and drag it to place it. To adjust the proportions, drag the edges of the Clipart until it fits your image. 

    Step 11 

     Tap on “Apply.”

    Step 12

    Tap on the arrow icon to finish. Save your picture and share it on PicsArt with t
